Dear Mr. Berkow:

Reference 1 provided you with Public Service Company's Procedure Generation Package (PGP). Reference 2 transmitted the Draft Safety Evaluation (SE) for Fort St. Vrain Nuclear Generating Station (FSV)

PGP and also contained a requirement for submitting a revised PGP by March 13, 1987.

Public Service Company has prepared a response to this SE and revised the PGP where warranted. As a result of staff allocations to the recent Equipment Qualification effort and other commitments, reviews and finalization of this response and revised PGP have been delayed.

The purpose of this letter is to request a thirty (30) day extension to the required submittal date.

I would appreciate your concurrence with this request.
