Plans for the Crystal River Nuclear Power Plant Attached is a copy of the Exercise Report for the June 19, 1986, l partial participation joint exercise of the offsite REP plans for the Crystal River Nuclear Power Plant. Citrus and Levy Counties, l both located in the 10-inile plume emergency planning zone, fully I participated in the exercise. The State of Florida participated partially.

The exercise report, dated October 21,'1986, was prepared by Region IV of the Federal Emergency Management 7.gency (FEMA). There were no deficiencies identified during this exercise. There were, however, areas requiring corrective action and areas recommended for improvement.

Based on the results of this exercise, the State of Florida and Citrus and Levy Counties demonstrated the capability to protect the health i and safety of the public in the event of a radiological emergency at '

the site. Therefore, the 44 CFR 350 approval granted on February 15,

'1984, will remain in effect.

1 FEMA Pegion IV staf f has furnished a copy of this exercise report to the State of Florida and will assure completion by the State of the necessary corrective actions.
