SUMMARY
- On December 2,1986, the Nuclear Regulatory Comission (NRC) published for public comment a proposed rule to relax the timing requirements for a full participation emergency preparedness exercise for power reactors to within two years prior to issuance of a full-power operating license from the current requirement of within one year of issuance of a full-power operating license.
