Inspection No. 50-309/86-19
A routine inspection of the Maine Yankee radiation safety program was
conducted on November 17-21, 1986 by a team of three region based
specialists. The results of the inspection were discussed by Mr. T. Dragoun
with Mr. J. Garrity of your staff at the conclusion of the inspection.
No violations were identified. The inspector was favorably impressed with tie
degree of management oversight and control of the program. However, the need
for certain minor program improvements was also noted and discussed in the
enclosed inspection report.
