Dear Mr. Johnson:
This letter is written in reponse to your letter of September 16, 1986 which
transmitted the violation from Inspection Report STN 50-482/86-12.
As
requested, the violation (482/8616-12) identified in the Inspection Report
is being addressed in four parts.
(a) The reason for the violation if admitted;
(b)
- 'h e corrective steps which have noen taken and the results

achieved;
(c) Corrective steps which will be taken to avoid
further
violations; and
(d) The date when full compliance will be achieved.

Attachment A contains Safeguards Information in accordance with 10 CFR 73.21
and therefore should be withheld from public disclosure. This letter, when
!
seperated from the attachment does not contain Safeguards Information and
should be handled as decontrolled.
