EXAMINATION REPORT NO. 50-272/86-26(0L) and 50-311/86-31(0L)
On September 12, 1986, the NRC administered requalification examinations to
employees of your company who have licenses to operate your Salem Nuclear
Generating Station. The examinations administered were a part of a
Requalification Program Evaluation. At the conclusion of the examination the
preliminary findings of this evaluation were discussed with those members of
your staff identified in the enclosed report.

In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the Commission's regulations, a copy of
this letter and the enclosure will be placed in the NRC Public Document Room.
No reply to this letter is required. Your cooperation in this matter is
