TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS By letter dated August 5,1988 you proposed changes to Sections 6.5.2.2 and 6.5.2.6 of the second draf t Technical Specifications for Comanche Peak Stean Electric Station (CPSES) Unit 1.
Your letter states that the proposed i
changes reflect an agreement embodied in the Joint Stipulation dated July 1, 1988 between TV Electric, the Citizens Association for Sound Energy, and the NRC regarding participation by Mrs. Juanita Ellis (or her designated alternate) on the Comanche Peak Operations Review Committee.
This is to acknolwedge receipt of your proposed changes and to assure you

that the proof and review version of the C)SES Unit 1 technical specifica-tions, presently scheduled for issuance in December,1988, will appropriately I
incorporate changes reflective of the agreement. The changes will likewise be included in the Unit 2 technical specifications, as appropriate. The exact wording of the changes requires further staff renew and evaluation as discussed during our meeting on technical specifications with your staff on September 22, 1988. We anticipate further discussions with your staff before arriving at mutually agreeable wording for inclusion in the Unit 1 technical specifications.
