Dear Mr. Hutchinson:
By letter dated April 29,1996, you applied for an amendment to Operating License No.
DPR-51. The proposed change would have revised the as-found pressurizer code safety valve tolerance values and the minimum conditions for criticality associated with pressurizer level.
We understand that Framatome Technologies, Inc. informed you that the water properties table used in the analysis was not conservative and that the conclusions in your April 29,1996 submittal could not be supported. We also understand that the non-conservative results of the analysis have no impact on current plant operation.
Subsequent to the identification of non-conservative results,'you withdrew the amendment request by letter d'ated January 29,.1999.
4 The Commission has filed the enclosed Notice of Withdrawal of Application for Amendment to Facility Operating License with the Office of the Federal Register for publication.
