Gentlemen:
This refers to the inspection conducted by Mr. G. A. Pick of this office during
the period October 14-16 and November 17-21, 1986, of activities authorized by
NRC Operating License NPF-42 for the Wolf Creek Generating Station, and to the
discussion of our findings with members of your staff at the conclusion of the
inspection.
Areas examined during the inspection included complex surveillance tests and
surveillance test procedures and records. Within these arear, the inspection
consisted of selective examination of procedures and represer.tative records,
interviews with personnel, and observations by the NRC insp :. tor.
The
inspection findings are documented in the erclosed inspection report.
Within the scope of the inspection, na violations or deviations were
identified.
One unresolved iten is identified in paragraph 2 of the enclosed inspection
report.
