! On February 5, 19PC, NRC Bulletin CE-02 was issued and requested that licensees '

of PWRs with Westinghcuse steam ger.erators take action as necessary to trinimize i the likelihood of a steam generator tube rupture such as occurred at North Anna l'ni t 1.

Your response, dated Parch 08, 19E8, reported the absence of denting at the  !

top support plates. Additicnally the response outlined actions to be talen if  ;

denting is identified in the future and cormitted to providing a supplerental i

! report on or before January 1,1989. The supplerrental report will address the i i

data review perforr.ed on the baseline eddy current testirg to establish the depth of penetration of the anti-vibration bars and the results of the fluid i elastic stability ratio assessrent. Thus, your response to Bulletin EE-02 is  :
