This is in response to a December 23, 1986 letter from Mr. S. C. Hunsader of your staff to Mr. J. A. Hind, Director of the Division of Radiation Safety and Safeguards, NRC Region III, which transmitted the Objectives and the Scope of Participation for the 1987 Braidwood Emergency Response Exercise. We find the objectives to be acceptable as stated. Based on subsequent discussions with Mr. B. Schnell of your staff, we understand that the event will be a night-time exercise, as was stated in the proposed Objectives but not accurately reflected in the associated Scope of Participation.
