SUBJECT:
REQUALIFICATION PROGRAM EVALUATION In a telephone conversation between Mr. R. Bruno of the Point Beach Nuclear Power Plant Training Department and Mr. R. Higgins of the Region III Operator Licensing Section a modification of the arrangements for the evaluation of the requalification program at the Point Beach Nuclear Power Plant was made. The evaluation visit remains scheduled for the week of February 16, 1987.
For this visit, the NRC examiner will substitute NRC prepared questions into your facility's written examination, monitor the administration and grading of the written examinations, and administer NRC prepared oral examinations.
When the NRC examiner arrives at the site, he will meet with the appropriate facility personnel to review the schedule for those examinations.
For the examiner to adequately prepare for this visit, it will be necessary for the facility to furnish a copy of each requalification examination and answer key which the facility will administer to its operators. Mr. Bruno has been advised of our need for copies of the requalification examinations and answer keys and he has been notified where they are to be sent.
This request for information was approved by the Office of Management and Budget under Clearance Number 3150-0101, which expires May 31, 1989.
