Dear Mr. Kingsley,
On August 10, 1988, the Federal Register published the biweekly notices for amendrents involving no significant hazards considerations. We have enclosed a copy (53 FR 30124-30151) for your information. The Arkansas Nuclear One, Units 1 & 2 and the Waterford 3 applications for System Energy Resources.
Inc. operation are included. The coment period ends September 9,1988.
It is cur understanding that the draft operating agreements will not be available until after mid September. We also have outstanding questions to Waterford and Arkansas Nuclear One which we will also need to complete our reviews. 'In their applications, Louisiana Power and Light Company and Arkansas Power and Light Company agreed to keep us infomed of organizational changes, other regulatory /
authority approvals, and informational activities with the public and other agencies.
It is requested that SERI coordinate these activities so that the above infomi-tion is available as of the date the operating agreements are submitted fcr cur review.
