Subject: Inspection Report No. 50-213/86-25
This letter refers to the special announced safety inspection conducted by
Mr. A. A. Varela of this office on October 21-24, 1986 of activities authorized
by NRC License No. DPR-61 at the East Berlin office and the Haddam Neck Plant.
Mr. Varela discussed the findings of the inspection with Mr. R. Werner of your
staff at the conclusion of the inspection.
Areas examined during this inspection are described in the NRC Region I
Inspection Report which is enclosed with this letter. Within these areas, the
inspection consisted of selective examinations of procedures and representative
records, interviews with personnel, and observations by the inspector.
Within the scope of this inspection, no violations were observed.
