The Region IV staff has completed the review of the emergency plan changes which-you submitted to this office by letter dated June 4, 1986.
The emergency plan changes do not appear to decrease the effectiveness of the Arkansas Nuclear One emergency preparedness and response; however, Section E.10 titled " Notification" contains a statement relating to offsite notification that is not as stated in 10 CFR 50, Appendix E.IV.D.3.
The emergency plan states that the state will be notified within 15 minutes after declaring an Emergency Class.
The state should be notifi.ed within 15 minutes after declaring an emergency.
It is requested that you make the correction to your plan and procedures in l
your next plan or procedure change.
