1.0 INTRODUCTION AND BACKGROUND

- 9352, 2.0 EVALUATION The purpose of this change is to bring the Fort St. Vrain Technical Specifications into conforrance with the regulations.
The staff concurs with this change to update Appendix B sf the Technical Specifications and finds it acceptable, since the deletion of an outdated reference to 10 CFR Part 51 does not affect the obligation to comply with regulations.
3.0 ENi!RONMENTAL CONSIDERATION The amendment relates to changes in recordkeeping, reporting or admini-strative pro:edures or requirements. Accordingly, the amendment meets the eligibility) criteria for categorical exclusion set forth in 10 CFR Section 51.22(c)(10. Pursuant to 10 CFR 51.22(b), no envirordt. ental impact statement or environmental assessment need be prepared in connection with the issuance of the amendment.

4.0 CONCLUSION
The staff has concluded, based on the considerations discussed above, that:
(1) there is reasonable assurance that the health and safety of the will r.rt. 'e endangered by operation in the proposed manner, and (2) public such activities will be conducted in compliance with the Connission's regulations.
