Gentlemen:
This refers to the inspection conducted by Mr. J. B. Baird of this office
during the period June 9-13, 1986, of activities authorized by NRC Construction
Permits CPPR-126 and CPPR-127 for the Comanche Peak Steam Electric Station, and
to the discussion of our findings with Mr. A. B. Scott, Jr. , and other members
of your staff at the conclusion of the inspection.
Areas examined during the inspection included follow up of items identified
during the emergency preparedness appraisal and corrective actions for other
previously identified items. Within these areas, the inspection consisted of ,'
selective examination of procedures and representative records, interviews with
personnel, and observations by the inspector.
The findings are documented in
the enclosed report.
Within the scope of the inspection, no violations or deviations were identified.

discuss them with you.
