Inspection Repor, No. 50-247/86-13
A routine safety inspection of emergency preparedness activities was conducted
June 2-5, 1986 at the Indian Point Unit 2 by Messrs. Vito and Amato of this
office and other members of an NRC team. Discussions of our findings were held
by Mr. Amato with you and other members of your staff at the conclusion of the
inspection.
The areas examined during this inspection were limited to observation of the
emergency exercise conducted on June 4, 1986. Within the scope of this ins-
pection no violations were observed. Your performance during the exercise,
demonstrated implementation of the Emergency Plan, Administrative. Procedures
and Implementation Procedures in a manner which would adequately provide pro-
tective measures for the health and safety of the public. No reply to this
letter is required.
