NARRATIVE
SUMMARY
OF MONTHLY OPERATING EXPERIENCE APRIL 1986 April 1 The Station was in Operational Mode 1 with reactor through power at a nominal 100 percent with the Reactor April 8 Coolant System at a normal operating pressure and temperature.
April 9 A power reduction to approximately 27 percent began through at 0655 hours0.00758 days <br />0.182 hours <br />0.00108 weeks <br />2.492275e-4 months <br /> on the 9th to perform maintenance on April 11 the."B" Main Feedwater Regulating Valve. Maintenance completed at 1410 hours0.0163 days <br />0.392 hours <br />0.00233 weeks <br />5.36505e-4 months <br /> on the 10th.
A power acension to 45 percent began at 1445 hours0.0167 days <br />0.401 hours <br />0.00239 weeks <br />5.498225e-4 months <br /> on the 10th. Power level was held steady at 45 percent to clear penalty minutes accumulated for being out of the Delta Flux Target Band. The penalty minutes were cleared at 0700 hours0.0081 days <br />0.194 hours <br />0.00116 weeks <br />2.6635e-4 months <br /> on the lith and power level was subsequently returned to a nominal 100 percent.
April 12 The Station was in Operational Mode 1 with reactor through power at a nominal 100 percent with the Reactor Coolant April 21 System at normal operating pressure and temperature.
April 22 At 0800 hours0.00926 days <br />0.222 hours <br />0.00132 weeks <br />3.044e-4 months <br /> on the 22nd, the reactor reached its through nominal end-of-life.
Power production will April 30 continue, by a gradual power coastdown, until the Station is shutdown for refueling.
The Station was in Operational fiode 1 with reactor coolant system at normal operating pressure and temperature.
