Mr. Harry W. Kerch and Mr. H. J. Kaplan of this office on May 9-20, 1988 of
activities at the Peach Bottom Nuclear Power Station, Unit 3.

and Kaplan discussed the findings of the inspection with members of your staff
at the conclusion of the inspection,

Areas examined during this inspection included welding, nondestructive examina-

tion, and the preservico inspection of the pipe replacement program. Within
these areas, the inspection consis ted of selective examination of procedures
and representative records, intervi.ws with personnel, and observations by the
inspector,
