This letter is in reference to your license authorizing distribution of devices to persons who hold a general license under 10 CFR Part 31.5.
U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (USNRC) regulations require that you report transfers or lack of transfers of such devices to general licensees under USNRC jurisdiction on a guarterly' basis. A check of our files appears to indicate that reports for the 1, 2"d, 3", and 4" quarters of 1990 have not been received by USNRC.

the !!aryland Regulations 10.14.02.01 " Regulations for Control of Ionizing Radiation".

$. A. Each sealed source containing radioactive material, other than Hydrogen-3 with a I
half-life greater than thirty days and in any form other than cas shall be tested for g
leakage and/or contamination at intervals not to exceed 6 months.
In the absence of a certificate from a transferor indicating that a test has been made within six (6) months prior to the transfer, the sealed source shall not be put into use until g
tested.
If there is reason to suspect that a scaled source might have been damaged, j
or might be leaking, it shall be tested for leakage before further use.
