Thank you for your supplemental response of May 30, 1986, to violation 85-46-10.
It is our understanding that you will be submitting a Technical Specification
change request reflecting the use of a qualified reviewer process, in lieu of
PORC, for the review / approval of procedures and other change packages that do not
involve an unreviewed safety question.
As you are aware, such a reduction in
PORC required activities must be approved by NRR. We will examine the implemen-
tation of these planned corrective actions accordingly.
