This refers to.the. inspection conducted by Messrs. D. D. Chamberlain and W. B.
Jones of this office during the period June 15 through July 31, 1986, of
activities. authorized by NRC Operating License NPF-47 for River Bend Station,
and to the discussion of our findings with you and other members of your staff
at the conclusion of the inspection.
Areas examined during this inspection period included review of licensee
actions on previous inspection findings, evaluation of startup test results,
operational. safety verification, safety system walkdown, maintenance witness,.
surveillance witness, and quality concern program review.!Within these areas,
.the inspection consisted of selective examination of procedures and
representative records, interviews with personnel, and observations by.the
inspector. 'These findings are documented in the enclosed' inspection report.
Within the scope of the inspection, no violations or deviations were'
