j WASHINGTON. D. C. 20655 AUG 11 1986 Ms. Lesley R. Evans Senior Consultant International Energy Associates Limited 2600 Virginia Avenue, NW IN RESPONSE REFER Washington, DC 20037 TO F01A-86-278

Dear Ms. Evans:

This is in final response to your letter dated April 11, 1986, in which you requested, pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act (F0IA), six categories of records regarding plants that have been issued an operating license since the accident at the Three Mile Island plant.

During a telephone conversation between Nina Toms and Roger Mattson on August 7, 1986, Mr. Mattson was informed of the staff's comments regarding the remaining item (five) of your request. The staff noted that records responsive to item five are available but are located in many files, which would require extensive search time to identify these records. No single record exists which would adequately respond to this item.

In addition, computer programming would also be a factor to consider with regard to this item.= On your behalf, Mr. Mattson informed Ms. Toms he wished no further action be taken by the staff regarding this item.

The search charge for producing the recordsr subject to item three of your request, which was provided to you in our earlier response letter dated July 25,1986, is $96.00, as specified in 10 CFR 9.14(b)(3).

You will be billed by the NRC's Division of Accounting and Finance for that amount.

This completes action on your request.

Sincerely, M)f J
