of the NRC's Region !! offire on September 26-30, 1938 at Jarnes A.
FitzPatrick Nuclear Power Plant of activities authort2ed by NRC License No.
OPR-59 and to the discussions of our findings held by Ms. Masnyk with you and
other members of your staff at the conclusion of the inspection.
Areas examined during this inspection are described in the NRC Region !
Inspection Report which is enclosed with this letter. Within these areas, the
inspection consistcd of selective examinations of procedures and
representative records, interviews with personnel, and observations by the

Based on the result of this inspection, it appears that two e' yout activities

Notice. This reply should be clearly marked as a "Reply to a Notice of
Violation and should include for each violation:
(1) admission or cental of
the violation (2) the reason for the violations if admitted, (3) the
corrective steps which have been taken and the results achieved, (4) the
coerective steps which will be taken to avoid further violations, and (5) the
date when full compliance will be achieved. All $4feguards Information in your
response should be contained in an enclosure to your letter such that the
letter can be placed in the NRC's Public. Document Room. Where good cause is
shown, consideration will be given to extending the response time.
