Dear Ms. Souder:

g 3:oS I am the Government Documents Librarian at Randall Library, g

g;e UNC-Wilmington. This library is interested in becoming the

,rvig o

site for the LPDR records collection for the Brunswick Steam h

co Electric Plant.

Randall Library is a partial depository for United States government publications and the library also maintains a collec-tion of North Carolina state documents. The U.S. Documents Collection includes many publications of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission. The LPDR collection would certainly be an asset to our collection, and I believe our facilities are the most suitable in the area. We can currently provide adequate shelf and microform space, and in a year an addition and renovations to our building will be completed, providing adequate room for expansion of our collections. We have four public service photocopiers and four microform reader / printers. During the regular academic year we are open 98.5 hours5.787037e-5 days
0.00139 hours
8.267196e-6 weeks
1.9025e-6 months
per week, including evenings and weekends.

Reference service is provided by pro-fessional librarians 81.25 hours2.893519e-4 days
0.00694 hours
4.133598e-5 weeks
9.5125e-6 months
per week.

Summer hours are reduced slightly, but we still maintain evening and weekend hours during this period. Visitor parking is available on campus.

The staff of Randall Library is always willing to assist library users in locating materials in the collection, and there is a provision for extending borrowing privileges to non-University affiliated borrowers. Please contact me if you have any questions regarding our facilities and services.

Sincerely, M
