DOCKET fl0. 70-2932 REQUEST FOR EXTENSION OF SPECIAL NUCLEAR MATERIAL LICENSE NO. SNM-1912 l
Dear Mr. Rouse:
Texas Utilities Electric Company (TV Electric), lead applicant and agent for the other Applicants, Texas Municipal Poner Agency, Brarcs Electric Poner Cooparative, Inc. and Tex-La Electric Cooperative of Texas, Inc., hereby submits in accordance with 10CFR70.34, six (6) copies of a request for the amendment and extension of the Special Nuclear Material (SNM) License No. SNM-1912.
The requested amendment seeks to change item 4 $s follons:
Item 4:
December 31, 1991, or upon conversion of Construction Permit No.
CPPR-126 to an operating license, whichever is earlier.
The proposed extension of the Stim license is requested to be consistent with the request for extension of Construction Permit No. CPPR-126.
See TV Electric letter from W. G. Counsil to the NRC. "Request for Extension of Construction Permit No. CPPR-126," dated June a, 1988.
Proposed amendment 5 will permit the receipt, 00ssession, inspection, storage and preparation for transport of special nuclear material required for the operation of CPSES Unit 1, which will be licensed pursuant to t.be requirement of 10 CFF< Part 50.
Accordingly, a license fee is not required as specified under 10CFR170.11(a)(3).
