ARLINGTON TE X AS 76011 APR gg y MEMORANDUM FOR: To File v FPOM:
Mark Emerson Allegations Coordinator
SUBJECT:
CONTACT WITH OI REGARDINC ALLEGATION MADE BY ALLEGER A-4
Reference:
4-86-A-019 On April 25, 1966, Richard Herr, RIV:01, was readvised of an allegation made by TRT alleger A-4.
The allegation was reported by L. C. Shao, former Comanche Peak Group Leader, as follows: The Brown & Root superintendent, George Panley, made statements to the NRC that are not the truth regarding tube sheet alignment (Main Condensers). Thomas Westerman has advised me that the tube sheet alignment regarding the Main Condensers is not an NRC regulated activity and further that the licensee's contractor has replaced the entire
' unit, subsequent to A-4's allegation, to correct an unrelated problem.
In view of the above information, provided by Westerman, Region IV has no intention to request OI investigation at this time.
