REQUEST FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ON V0GTLE SER CONFIRMATORY ITEM 10 " FINAL PIPEWHIP AND JET IMPINGEMENT EVALUATION FOR HIGH-ENERGY PIPING" t
The staff has reviewed Vogtle FSAR Amendment 22 in which you have addressed confinnatory item 10. " Final pipewhip and jet impingement evaluation for high-energy piping." Section 3.6.2.5.1 of this FSAR amendment states that the final and complete analysis results for ASME Class 2, Class 3, and non-nuclear lines have been provided in FSAR Figure 3.6.1-1 and that the results for Class I lines will be provided upon their completion.
In order to complete its review, the staff requests that you provide the final stress results for Class 1 lines in the applicable portions of FSAR Table 3.6.2-1 within 45 days of the date of this letter in order to resolve this issue prior to Vogtle Unit I licensing.
