Catawba tbclear Station, Units 1 and 2 Docket Nos. 50-413 and 50-414 NRC Inspection Report tbs. 50-413, -414/88-22 Revised Nplay to a tbtice of Violation Gentimen My Septaber 30, 1988 subnittal to the 100 Docunent Control Desk which transmitted Duke Power cbepany's ksponse to Violation No. 50-413,
~414/08-22-01 indicated that an existing Catawba interpretatico to Technical Specification 6.2.2.f and the Station Directives would be revised before Novestber 15, 1988. We purpose of these corrective acticns is to better define the method and intent of controlling cr.ertire as described in the Technical Specifications. Please be advised that full ccmpliance with the correctim acticns will new be achieved prior to March 15, 1989. Wis delay is the result of Duka Power's efforts to also implement similar measures at h tbclear Station and at Ooonee Nuclear Station. Inpimentation of tle corrective acticns at Catawba will prevent any furtler violaticns.
