Hackney of this office during the period April 14-18, 1986, cf activities
-authorized by NRC Operating License DPR-40 for the Fort Calhoun Station, and to
the discussion of our findings with you and members of your staff at the
conclusion of'the~ inspection.
Areas examined during the inspection. included emergency detection and
classification, protective action decisionmaking, dose calculation and
assessment and shift staffing and augmentation. Within these areas, the
inspection consisted of selective examination of procedures and representative-
records, interviewsiwith personnel, and observations by the inspectors. These
-findings are documented in the enclosed report.
The enclosed. report identifies a deficiency in your emergency preparedness
program' observed during the inspection. It is requested that you provide this
office with a schedule for correcting this deficiency within 30 days after the
receipt of'this letter.
Within the scope of the inspection, no violations or deviations were
identified.
