Box 41 Lycoming, New York 13093 Gentlemen: Subject: EQUIPMENT QUALIFICATION INSPECTION OF FITZPATRICK NUCLEAR POWER PLANT (INSPECTION NO. 050-333/87-14) This letter confirms the dates of April 27 - May 1,1987 for the NRC equipment qualification (EQ) inspection for FitzPatrick Nuclear Power Plant. These dates were established during a previous telephone conversation with Mr. Mogan Hansen on April 2, 1987 by Mr. Leonard Cheung of this office. The inspection will take place at the plant site. A management entrance meeting is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. on April 27, 1987 with a management exit meeting tentatively scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on May 1,1987 at the plant site. A plant walkdown inspection of specific EQ equipment is planned for Wednesday, April 29, 1987. The inspection will include the following: 1. Review of your implementation of a 10 CFR 50.49 program including preservation of the qualified status of qud ified equipment. 2. Review of your implementation of Technical Evaluation Report / Safety Evaluation Report EQ corrective action commitments. 3. Review of EQ documentation files.# 4.
