This amendment consists of changes to the Technical Specifications in response to your i applicationdatedJanuary.7,1986[ Sic](1987).-

The amendment modifies the surveillance requirements for the hydrogen and oxygen monitoring system for the waste gas decay tanks to clarify that a daily channel check is required for this system when it is in service.

A copy of the Safety Evaluation is also enclosed. The notice of issuance will be included in the Commission's next regular bi-weekly Federal Register notice.
