Dear Mr. Kingsley:
We received the enclosed Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) correspondence on March 22,1999 transmitting the FEMA evaluation report for the October 7,1998 Annual Medical Drill conducted at Rock Island County for the Quad Cities Nuclear Power Station.
No deficiencies were identified during the drill for the State of Illinois or Rock IslantCou.n)y.
However, one Area Requiring Corrective Action (ARCA) was identified for Rock Island County relating to completing the Illinois Hospital dosimeter log.
We fully recognize that any corrective achns to be implemented may involve parties and politicalinstitutions which are not under your direct control. Nonetheless, we expect that assistance, if appropriate, will be extended.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the Commission's regulations, a copy of this letter and the enclosed FEMA correspondence will be plac+d in the NRC Public Document Room.
