Revision 13 to the Vermont Yankee Physical Security Plan The purpose of this letter is to provide you with Revision No. 13 to the Vermont Yankee Physical Security Plan. This revision deletes provisions for Security Force training and qualification which are redundant to the NRC-approved Vermont Yankee Trainina and Qualification Plan for Security (Reference (b)]. This revision reflects full implementation of the Training and Qualification Plan.
We have also revised the Security Plan to clarify the type of weapons available to Security Officers.
l The Plan revision is provided as Attachment A to this letter.
We have reviewed this revision and have determined that the changes do not decrease the safeguards effectiveness of the Plan. Therefore, in accordance with 10CFR50.54(p), prior NRC approval of this revision is not required.
Both the Security Plan and Attachment A are considered SAFEGUARDS INFORMATION, and as such, are be withheld from public disclosure in accor-i dance with the provisions of 10; 173.21.
As required by Vermont Yankee's procedures for the control of SAFEGUARDS l
INF,0RMATION and Section 13.8 of the Security Plan, we have enclosed a Document Custody Form and Change Transmittal Form for each copy of the Security Plan change. We require your cooperation in assuring that these forms are properly i
