Subject: Inspection Report No. 50-354/86-24
This refers to the routine safety inspection conducted by Ms. M. Evans of this
office on April 28 - May 9, 1986, at the Hope Creek Generating Station,
Unit 1, Hancocks Bridge, New Jersey, of activities authorized by NRC License
No. CPPR-120 and to the discussions of our findings held by Ms. Evans
with Mr. S. LaBruna and other members of your staff at the conclusion of the
inspection.

Areas examined during this inspection are described in the NRC Region I
Inspection Report which is enclosed with this letter. O thin these areas, the
inspection consisted of selective examinations of procedures and
representative records, interview with personnel, and observations by the
inspector.
Within the scope of this inspection, no violations were observed.
