Gentlemen:

This refers to the inspection conducted by Mr. R. V. Azua of this office during

the period October 11-15, 1988, of activities authorized by NRC Operating

License NPF-42 for Wolf Creek Generating Station, and to the discussion of our

findings with Mr. F. T. Rhodes and other members of your staff at the

conclusion of the inspection.

Areas examined during the inspection included the containment integrated leak

rate test (CILRT). Within this area, the inspection consisted of selective

examination of procedures and representative records, interviews with personnel,

dnd obseryctions by the NRC inspector. The inspection findings are documented

in the enclosed inspection report.

It is our understanding that during the exit interview a commitment was made to

ensure that all future temporary change packages for procedures are paginated.

This wn done to meet the intent of your Administrative Procedure No. ADM-07-100.

Should this not be your urderstanding, we will be pleased to diccuss it with

you. This comitment is further discussed in paragraphs 6 and 7 of Section 2.0

of the attached inspection report.

Within the scope of the inspection, no violations or deviations were

identified.

Should you have any questions concerning this inspection, we will be pleased to

discuss them with you.
