SAN ONOFRE NUCLEAR GENERATING STATION, UNITS 2 AND 3 -- FACSIMILE TRANSMISSION, ISSUES DISCUSSED IN A PHONE CONVERSATION ON APRll19,1999 On April 15,1999, the staff requested Mr. Jack Rainsberry of Southern Californal Corporation (SCE) to schedule a conference call with the staff and to discuss its steam generator eddy current inspection results obtained during their imminent refueling outage.
On April 19,1999, the staff he'd teiephone discussions with SCE. Attachment provides discussion material which the SCE provided to the staff by fax for the telephone conference. Lee Ellershaw (Region IV), John Kramer (Resident inspector), and L. Raghavan, P. Rush, S. Coffin and A. Kim I
(NRR staff), and Derrick Mercurio et. al (SCE) participated in the call. The discussions were l
technical in nature and did not result in regulatory action.
This memorandum and the attachment do not convey a formal request for information or represent an NRC staff position.
