SUBJECT: NRC INSPECTION REPORT NOS. 50-413/86-44, 50-414/86-47, 50-369/86-32,
50-370/86-32, 50-269/86-32, 50-270/86-32, AND 50-287/86-32
In accordance with telephone conversations between Mr. John B. Kahle of this
office, and Messrs. Craig Harlin and Fred Owens of your Oconee Nuclear Station,
and Mr. David Ethington and Ms. Norma Atherton of your McGuire Nuclear Station,
Duke Power Company will submit a supplemental response to the Notice of
Violation, NRC Inspection Report Nos. 50-413/86-44,50-414/86-47,50-369/86-32,
and 50-370/86-32, 50-269/86-32, 50-270/86-32, and 50-287/86-32.

The supplemental response will provide additional information regarding Items B
and E of the Notice of Violation.
Because of the two week INP0 inspection at
Duke Power Company, it was agreed that the supplemental response would be
submitted by April 3,1987.
