REPORT NOS. 50-259/87 13, 50-260/87-33, AND 50-296/87-33
Thank you for your response of January 11, 1988, to our Notice cf Violation
issued on November 19, 1987, concerning activities conducted at your Browns
Ferry facility. We have evaluated yrar response and found that it meets the
requirements of 10 CFR 2.201.
We will examine the implementation of your
corrective actions during future inspections.
After careful review cf the bases for your denial of all three examples
described in Violation A, we agree with your position with respect to the
three examples and have deleted Violation A from our records.
ibis issue is
identified as IFI 50-259,260,296/87-FRP-01 and must be resolved prior to
Unit 2 startup as described in Inspection Report 50-259,260,296/88-14.
