MAY I 61986 Jay Laughlin, Supervisor Emergency Planning Texas Utilities Generating Company P. O. Box 2300 Glen Rose, TX 76043
Dear Mr. Laughlin:
I would like to take this opportunity to express our appreciation of your participation and contributions to the emergency response workshop on May 6-7, 1986.
We had hoped that the workshop would result in a free exchange of information, identification of issues and problem areas, and candid discussions on emer-gency planning and response issues, and by all accounts, the desired results were achieved.
The panel discussions on emergency response from the utility perspective provided the attendees with information necessary to develop and promote a better understanding of the interactions and interfaces among emergency response organizations.
While it would be unrealistic to assume that each and every problem area iden-tified will be resolved to the satisfaction of all, my staff will be address-ing many of the problems and issues that were discussed during the we.Kshop summary.
Once again, thank you for your support and contributions, and v. look forward to the continued excellent working relationship established during the work-shop.
Sincerely, 8605210505 860516 PDR ADOCK 05000445 Richard L. Bangart, Director F
