Dear Mr. Goodwin:
I would like to take this opportunity to express our appreciation of your participation and contributions to the emergency response workshop on May 6-7, 1986.
We had hoped that the workshop would result in a free exchange of information, identification of issues and problem areas, and candid discussions or, emer-gency planning and response issues, and by all accounts, the desired results were achieved.
The panel discussions on emergency response from the utility perspective provided the attendees with information necessary to develop and promote a better understanding of the interactions and interfaces among emergency response organizations.
While it would be unrealistic to assume that each and every problem area iden-tified will be resolved to the satisfaction of all, my staff will be address-ing many of the problems and issues that were discussed during the workshop summary.
Once again, thank you for your support and contributions, and we look forward to the continued excellent working relationship established during the work-shop.
