Robert Guild, Esquire BPI 109 North Dearborn Street Suite 1300 Chicago, Illinois 60602

Dear Mr. Guild:

On January 24, 1986, Intervenors' Rorem et. al.

filed their Third Set of Quality Assurance Interrogatories and Request to Produce. Applicant has filed its written responses to those interrogatories. The purpose of this letter is to notify you that all documents which relate to the third document request are available for inspection and copying as of this date at the Chicago offices of Isham, Lincoln and Beale. A detailed index of the documents will be ready in about 10 days. If you would like to review the documents, you need only contact Susan Babb or Gary Kruse and arrangements will be made.

Each document being made available is marked with a unique number on each page. In addition, the first and last page of each document is marked with a stamp which indicates the interrogatory to which it relates. The in-terrogatory codes for the third request all begin with a "C" and then are followed by the number of the interrogatory.

Thus, C9 indicates that the document is responsive to inter-rogatory 9 of the third document request. For your convenience all documents which are provided as updates to specific interrogatories 6 and 7 of your second set of interrogatories are also marked with the appropriate code for those interroga-tories. The attachment to this letter is a key to the codes for interrogatories 6 and 7.

Truly yours,

/ '
