NRC INSPECTION REPORT 70-7001/99005(DNMS)

Dear Mr. Adkins:

This letter refers to the inspection conducted March 22-25,1999, at the Paducah Gaseous Diffusion Plant. The inspection included a review of the approved Paducah Physical Security Plan. At the conclusion of this inspection, the findings were discussed with members of your staff during a exit on March 25,1999. The enclosed report presents the results of this inspection.

Areas examined during the inspection are identified in the report. Within these areas, the inspection consisted of interviews with personnel, observations of activities in progress, ,

walk-throughs with your staff, and selected examination of procedures and associated records. l l

No violations of NRC requirements were identified during the course of this inspection.

In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the NRC's " Rules of Practice," a copy of this letter and its )

enclosure will be placed in the NRC Public Document Room.
