Dear Mr. White:
This is in regard to your letter dated May 28, 1986, in which you requested, pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act (F0IA), all quarterly reports of transfers of devices distributed under general licenses for 1980 through the first quarter of 1986.
In our letter to you dated September 9,1986, we informed you we were consulting with pertinent parties to review their proprietary claims regarding requested records. At this time, eight parties have informed us that they have no objection to the release of the records listed on enclosed Appendix A.
These eight records are being placed into the NRC's Public Document Room (PDR),1717 H Street, NW, Washington, DC 20555, in PDR folder FOIA-86-413 under your name. Enclosed is information on how you may obtain copies of these records.
In the event we determine that additional records may be released, you will be notified promptly.

Transfer Reports Required Under 10CFR32.52 Gentlemen:
10CFR32.52 and the equivalent regulations of agreement states require that persons licensed to initially transfer generally licensed devices report to the NRC or equivalent authority of agreement states transfers of these devices.
The reports are required to identify:
1.
Each general licensee by name and address 2.
An individual by name and/or position who may serve as a point of contact for the intended use 3.
The type and model number of the device 4.
The quantity and type of material in the device, and 5.
Intermediate persons who will possess the device before transfer to the intended user.
These reports are to be made within 30 days of the end of a calendar quarter.
Under the provisions of the Freedom of Information Act, I am requesting copies of the required reports of transfers of generally licensed devices to transferees where the USNRC has jurisdiction made between first quarter 1980 through first quarter 1986 inclusive.
I am requesting copies of
