Dear Sir:
The following corrective steps have been taken to avoid any further violation of the condition 15.A of our license:
- 1. As of the above date, the radioactive waste (radio-imnuno assay test tubes) will not be disposed of in the ordinary trash.
- 2. A contract has now been established with the Radiation Service organization for the collection, disposal and burial of the radioactive waste (see enclosure #1).
- 3. Our laboratory currently maintains a permit (#6240) with the State of Washington for low-level radioactive waste disposal site (see enclosure #2). 'Ihe permit will also be renewed for FY-87 (see enclosure #3).
