NRC Inspection Report No. 70-687/87-01 An Enforcement Conference was held on February 13, 1987, at NRC Region I offices, to discuss the findings of NRC Inspection Report No. 70-687/87-01.
The topics discussed at this meeting included the events and radiological controls associated with an apparent radiation exposure to the extremities of one worker in excess of the NRC regulatory limit during the third calendar quarter, 1985. The enclosed Enforcement Conference report describes the details of this meeting.
During the Enforcement Conference, your staff presented and distributed a report detailing the results of an investigation into the actual extremity exposure received by the involved worker during the third calendar quarter, 1985. This assessment is currently under review by our technical staff in the Region. You may be asked to provide additional information during the course of this review.
