i UNITED STATES NUCLEAR REGULATORY COMMISSION DETROIT EDISON COMPANY WOLVERINE POWER SUPPLY COOPERATIVE INCORPORATED DOCKET NO. 50-341 FERMI-2 NOTICE OF WITHDRAWAL OF APPLICATION FOR Af'.ENDMENT TO FACILITY OPERATING LICENSE NPF-43 The United States Nuclear Regulatory Comission (Commission or the NRC) has granted the request of the Det oit Edison Company (Deco or the licensee) for withdrawal of part of an application for proposed amendment to Fa'cility Operating License No. NPF-43 for Fermi-2 located in Monroe County, Michigan.
The Commission issued a Notice of Consideration of Issuance of Amendment which was published in the FEDERAL REGISTER on October 22,1986(51FR37508).
By letter dated January 29, 1987, the licensee withdrew a portion of the application for the amendinent requested on June 19, 1986, and supplemented on July 31, 1986. The licensee submitted a proposed license amendment which would have extended the required date for submittal of the Detailed Control Room Design Review (DCRDR) summary report.
The DCRDR summary report was submitted with the letter dated November 30, 1986, as required in Operating License No. NPF-43, Attachment 2, Item 1(a). Hence, the proposed portion of the license amendment is not needed.
