This refers to the routine resident safety inspection by Mr. R. Borchardt
and Mr. D. Allsopp conducted from February 10, 1987 to March 9, 1987 at
the Hope Creek Nuclear Generating Station, Hancocks Bri 'ge, New Jersey.
The inspection consisted of observation of activities, di ument reviews
and interviews. The findings were discussed with Mr. R. Salvesan of your

staff.
This letter also acknowledges receipt of your response dated February 27,
1987, to the violations cited in Inspection Reports 50-354/86-41, 86-47,
and 86-50. Your response and the corrective actions taken were reviewed
during this report period and found to be acceptable.
No reply to this letter is required. Your cooperation with us in this
matter is appreciated.
