Dear Mr. Chairman:
You responded on August 2, 1988.to a letter from me requesting information about allegations of misconduct by a senior manager at the Davis-Besse plant.
One of thc documents you provided to the Subcommittee was an Office of Investiaations (OI) report which has been referred to the Department of Justice for review.
Your letter indicated Lhat that report and other information being provided by OI is being considered by the NRO staff for possible enforcement action.
I would appreciate it if you would keep the Subcommittee informed of any plans by the NRC to take enforceme:t action or, in the alternative, not to take enforcement action in this case.
In addition, please provide the Subcomnittee with l
any documentation relevant to that decision.
